In addition, we launched TenCate AmberTool® HXR series, a multi-axial format which significantly reduces layup time whilst maintaining the easy handling of single ply tooling
prepregs. This solution has been specifically designed for where complexity and
speed are required and ultimately reducing the overall tooling costs.
Rocket Lab selected high modulus UD tapes and high strength thermoset prepregs from TenCate for the production of their full carbon composite space launch vehicle, Electron.
On display was the Electron Rocket's nose fairing. It was all carbon and weighed less than 30kg. Materials from TenCate enable Rocket Lab to deliver the lowest mass fraction for a rocket this size, thus maximising the ultimate payload to orbit while providing protection for the vehicle during assembly and flight.

Swisshelicopter SKYe SH09 helicopter features a full
composite fuselage and tail rotor as well as all-composite
main and tail rotor blades, made using TenCate TC250 and
BT250E-6 epoxy resin systems from woven and UD reinforcements.
Marenco Swisshelicopter selected this advanced composite solution of TenCate because of their excellent mechanical properties coupled with TenCate’s experience in supporting new emerging programs.

a low noise signature. The lightweight composite materials
from TenCate provide an excellent balance of toughness,
mechanical property translation and hot/wet performance.
GLOBAL PARTNER FOR AEROSPACE COMPOSITES
TenCate Advanced Composites have recently signed a multiyear supply agreement with Marenco for the SKYe SH09 programme, and will supply Marenco Swisshelicopter globally from facilities in the United States of America and the newly expanded Langley Mill plant in the United Kingdom.
TenCate Cetex® glass / PP thermoplastic materials were selected by the Polytec Group to be an intergral part of their underbody panel system.
