The opening on Wednesday 18 May 2016 followed a period of significant investment for our UK operation of TenCate Advanced Composites, which has seen growth in our TenCate AmberTool® tooling prepreg systems and strong positions in the automotive, Formula 1 and motorsport markets. The capabilities and capacity have been further enhanced by the award of the AS9100 certificate for its standardized quality management system for the aerospace and automotive industry.
Aerospace exhibit was a military nose radome, built using TenCate's leading low dielectric ultra pure radome advanced composite materials.
Automotive application featured the Alfa Romeo 4C chassis, manufactured from TenCate's E700 series at Langley Mill.
Industrial applications included Green Team Twente's hydrogen car built for the Shell Ecomarathon race.
In addition, we featured our recently launched TenCate AmberTool® HXR series, a multi-axial format which significantly reduces layup time whilst maintaining the easy handling of single ply tooling prepregs. This solution has been specifically designed for where complexity and speed are required and ultimately reducing the overall tooling costs.

The central passenger cell was on display. The use of TenCate's E700 series carbon fibre prepreg reduces vehicle weight and creates a highly rigid and safe basic structure.
Through an exclusive supplier agreement with Adler Group, TenCate E700 series carbon fibre prepreg is being used exclusively for the production of the entire monocoque for the Alfa Romeo 4C chassis.

We offer a kit cutting service to our customer's specification. Our automatic cutting tool is used in a controlled environment designed to maximize material outlife. Any shapes can be cut. All you need to provide is the size, a sample of the shape you need, or a CAD file.

composite fuselage and tail rotor - displayed at JEC World 2016 - as well as all-composite main and tail rotor blades, made using TenCate TC250 and BT250E-6 epoxy resin systems from woven and UD reinforcements.
